Imposter Syndrome Workshops, Keynote Speaking

& Leadership Facilitating

You don’t need another generic workshop or motivational talk.
You want something honest, engaging, and transformative. Something that gets people talking to each other, not just listening to slides.

Whether it’s a keynote that lands, a group workshop that gets under the surface, or team facilitation that opens up new conversations - this is the work I love. Real, practical, and human.

I work with teams, leaders, and organisations ready to shift things.

Work With Me

I bring a rare mix:

  • A coaching brain and a commercial background

  • An ability to tune into what’s really going on beneath the surface

  • A knack for making complex human dynamics feel simple and solvable

I’m a qualified leadership coach (EMCC Senior Practitioner), imposter syndrome researcher, and former commercial leader — so I get the internal politics, the people dynamics, and the pressure to perform.

I’m also known for being real, warm, inclusive and the ability to get to the heart of the matter.

Imposter Syndrome

Workshops

“Moment Company commissioned Gill to run an Imposter Syndrome workshop as part of our larger corporate programme, “Learning the Science of Yourself” with Keynes Digital in the USA. Gill really is an expert in Imposter Syndrome. She’s able to share the existing research alongside her own Masters research and most importantly the practical experience she has in her coaching rooms and own life in such an easy to understand and thought provoking way. She has such a calm and compelling delivery; a balance of pace, pause, provocation, information. We all thought we knew what IS is, but, we learned so much of what it is and what it isn’t (some urban myths busted); how it shows up, how to recognize it and overcome it. The importance of being aware of labels, our imaginings, the stories we attach to ourselves and others and the importance of our mindset. With a very light brief, Gill created a bespoke workshop that spoke directly to our audience. We’d definitely bring Gill back again for part 2 and further programmes with Moment Co”.

Fiona McKinnon, CEO & Founder, Moment Company.

What participants said:

“Thank you once again for your session, I struggle with the term Imposter Phenomenon... I think often the messaging very much falls into what you said about it being a label that people can hide behind because the concept resonates so strongly and feels truer than perhaps it is (they are more mid-bell curve with feelings of impostorism). So personally I got a lot from it as it helped me reframe and gave me some lovely language and analogies I can use in my work with others - definitely the best session on this I have attended on the topic.”

Who I Work With

Who is it for?

Clients who bring me in usually say things like:

  • “We need to talk about what’s really going on.”

  • “Our people need something real, useful, supportive and sustainable.”

  • “We’ve had enough of surface-level fluff. Let’s go deeper.”

  • “We want to open up something honest with a facilitator who can hold the space and bring clarity.”

I work with leadership teams and groups, offsite events, away days and conferences.

Keynote & Panel

Speaking

Each speaking event requires something bespoke for your audience; tailored to talk directly to them, inspire, impact and allow them space to think.

What my client’s say:

“I commissioned Gill to deliver a keynote on Careers & Confidence (Imposter Syndrome) for our first Women in STEM careers event. Gill was great to work with, shaping content to meet the needs of a diverse audience of 70 professionals and delivering this in an engaging and knowledgeable way. Gill's keynote really resonated with the experience of our audience. We received considerable positive feedback, particularly on the practical take-aways and points for reflection”

Dr Elouise Leonard-Cross, Head of People Development, Northumbrian Water Group

What their audience said:

“Gill is one of the most inspiring speakers I have heard in such a long time. So much of what she spoke about resonated with me, and I’m not ashamed to say that I felt emotional throughout her talk. Almost like a therapy session!”“Gill, that had so much meaning for me… I wish I’d met you in my 20’s!”

“So many parts of your speech made me think you were talking directly to me, like you could see inside my head”.

“It was great to have you with us today! You inspired us all and made a big impact! Thank you”.

Group & Team Facilitator

Leadership & Team

Facilitating

Gill created a bespoke “At My Best” workshop and coaching programme for us at TMC. As a virtual company, this was a valuable opportunity to meet face-to-face and working with Gill as our facilitator enabled the whole team to fully engage in the workshop.

The session offered meaningful moments for individual reflection and a deeper understanding of our team dynamics. We appreciated the open, honest environment and the chance to explore how we each work most effectively, with Gill creating a safe and supportive space for us to bring our best. Her focus on themes such as ‘owning your own clarity’ and balancing individual styles with team goals helped support alignment and collective growth. This experience has given us all something to build on both individually and as a team, as we continue to grow together and benefit from strong facilitation.

What the CEO said:

Gill worked with me on the agenda beforehand to ensure smooth segues and to fully understand what I wanted. She also spent time with me on a de-brief at the end; we now have some ideas and real learnings for future events.

I’ve worked with Gill as a coach and whilst she brings her coaching presence to facilitating, in her ability to connect with the group, create a connection in the room and helping people articulate and clarify exactly what they are aiming to say, she is also assertive, challenging, forthright and committed to the day.

I’d recommend Gill as a leadership event facilitator.
